Choose a new fighter in Pause / Settings, then choose a returning original as your jump-in assist. Call them with M (Player 1), / (Player 2), both controller shoulders together, or the assist buttons. Each call has a 9 second cooldown.

New concept bodies use basic movement gestures. Combat timing, moves and stages come from the original system; complete new animation sheets and balancing are still in development. Missing concept art uses clearly identified inherited prototype sprites.

Release each control between steps. While learning extra combat buttons, tap your existing Pause button to skip a step. Hold any button for two seconds to cancel. Two-button shortcuts remain available. Settings are saved for this controller in this browser.

Directional shading covers every fighter and demon lord on every stage. Lamp tests start a clear night at normal time speed. Walk toward the stage lights to compare skin, clothes, armor and metal.

Normal time is 24 minutes per day. Speed up time to test sunrise, sunset, seasons and weather; 60× takes 24 seconds per day. Time keeps moving during fights and menus across every stage. Return to global cycle restores normal speed.
